Designed by Jennifer Yoko Olson for Base 10, the EKM bench deploys complex hand-cut joinery in service of minimal design, resulting in a graphic but modest, suble but distinct form.

The elemental, light-weight appearance is supported by a series of intricate joints, which become totally invisible once assembled. At the top of the seat, four through-tenon joints are visible as simple squares, inviting one to imagine the inner workings beneath the surface.
